This is archaeform's aim.

The objects of today, made from modern materials, take the form of antiquity. They make our daily life easier, they are useful but are not reduced to pure functionality. Rather, they are beautiful, and beauty has a positive effect on our feelings. In this way, what appears at first glance to be opposite comes together in the products from archaeform to form harmony: old and new, aesthetics and functionality, mystique and rationality.

archaeform offers watches, scarfs, ties, jewellery, wooden utensils, umbrellas and magnets. The designs were created together with an innovative designer team and in close cooperation with archaeologists and various museums. With every piece we enclose an explanation, because only when the piece is seen in connection with its original meaning does the work of archaeform become a piece of living history.

The motifs are chosen as carefully as the design in which their effect unfolds -- we only take objects into the collection which have an outstanding cultural history and in our search for such objects we recognize no time or regional boarders. For this reason you will find motifs based on Stone Age cave paintings from France, from the old advanced civilisations of the Egyptians and Babylonians in Mesopotamia and from medieval work of art.
